Hi Chic,

The site I work for ) is working with the producers from TLC to find people that are interested in appearing on "LA Ink" with Kat Von D.

Tattoo Type has a great readership and I was hoping you could let your readers and friends know about the casting call.

Here's the info:

Please email me if you have any questions. Thank you.

I went to High Voltage (LA Ink) last year with a group of girls and we all were going to get a matching tattoo (a girl bonding thing, I guess).

Anyway, to make a long story short, we were treated poorly and went somewhere else. I did see Kat Von D poke her head out of the back to yell something at one of the people up front, (but none of the other people from the show were there), which was kind of neat, but did not make up for how we were treated by the front person and 2 artists that were there.

I even wrote to the shop to tell them about the experience (thinking they'd want to know what is going on at the front of their shop that would be bad for business) and no reply - not even a thanks for letting us know or apology or anything.

It was very disappointing.

that first 30 seconds in a new studio is really what makes me decide if i want them to do me a piece or not. yesterday i went into a place for the first time and the guy at the desk made me wait for 3 minutes while he finished his IM chat before having a look at what i'd brought in. they won't be getting my custom, needless to say...
