Looks kind of neat, but wouldn't be anything I'd have at my bench. It's shape alone makes it a cross contamination nightmare.

Cool novelty for someone that's into this kind of thing, but deffinately not something that I want to see my artist working out of.

why would there be a cross contamination issue?

your using your cups. once your done with a customer your dumping out the cups.

the lips around the top of the cup should keep the ink colors in check.

Let's say some ink with bodily fluid in it drips off of the machine and onto the skull. You clean it up at the end of your session.(I'm assuming that it's probably not an item that can be placed in an autoclave.)

Fast forward to next client...............

Next client comes along and you place new ink and new single use caps. Now you begin to tattoo the client and realize that your inks are just a little out of reach and move the holder into a better position. You've now touched a contaminated item and put your client at risk of what you may have on your gloves. The design doesn't make it easy to sanitize with decontaminent cleaner either.(which will not deal with spores.) All the little corners and cracks are holding areas for nasties. This is why so many of us just stick our ink caps to a dental bib with a large glob of petrolium jelly. Used once and then discarded.

Very cool novelty for decoration, but shouldn't be used for the application of a tattoo in today's world.

I hope my reply doesn't sound harsh or mean. I'm posting it in hopes that it will be of some help to you and others.

agree 100% ,..they look cool,......but,.......most locals have laws any ways about non-porous surfaces.

if they were autoclavable might be better.
