Hi Im new. I have one tattoo so far. I was thinking of getting a polish falcon on the outside of my left shoulder with the initials of both my grandfathers who have passed away around it. My initail reason is both sides of my family are from poland, somewhat of a small memorial, and something cool from my heritage. Here are some possible negative issues....Let me know what you think.

1. I was born in the USA, live in the USA, only know like 5 polish words, and have never been to Poland. Does getting this seem too "over the top" almost like im a poser??

2. Does anyone know the true history behind the polish falcon/eagle? Where I am there are restaurants called "The Polish Falcon" with the symbol on the building. There is a "Polish Fest" where they sell t-shirts with it on them...BUT...I know back in the day the polish army had it on their helmets and such...so is there isnt any underlying conrtoversial political issues associated with it??
