|
|
| I'm currently thinking about getting a tattoo of my family name MITCHELL in old english. I was looking at getting this tattoo on my forearm going down from the elbow to the wrist. But now am considering getting in over my rib cage going down to my hip. What does everyone think about both placements. i think that the length of the words may be a bit long for my forearm hence the consideration of the ribs. Also this is my first tattoo. |

GO FOR THE RIB ... JK!
Seriously though, it may be a bit long for your forearm and would look fab along the rib.
I would suggest offering to pay for an extra stencil (or get an artist friend to sketch it on your arm) and see. Being your first you want to be 100% with placement.

| I agree with the rib placement but remember the ribs are a real sore spot to be done. So just be for warned abut that side of it. But you could be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get affected by the pain there. |

| I recently got my last name tattooed on my ribs. Getting Yoshi (From Mario) on my back/spine, was nothing compared to my ribs. I'm sooo happy with the way my last name came out though. The outlining hurt sooo bad. It only took about an hour to finish it all. If I could figure out how to put a pic up I would. |

| RIBS DO HURT, no matter what anyone says. only problem with doin it on ur arm is job wise, but remember if u are ever lookin for a job or got fired u might have to cover it up. as for me i have both arms sleeved up and i am a appliance repair tech. so i have to wear long sleeve shirts while im working |
