i wanna get traditional japanese waves for my tattoo

but i dont want the usual animals that go with them

like dragons, koi, tigers, kanji, ect....

does anyone have any ideas on what else would look good with japanese waves?

I am actually working on something similiar. Get some japanese flowers like peonies. They look awesome, they can be floating on the water with the waves coming out from under them Very Happy

Hi i dont think i would have peony,s and water, dont think it would look as good as water lilly because peonys dont grow in water but obviously lilly,s do.have you thought of cherry blossom,s.?
what about bamboo? When placed right it can look really good.just a few thoughts hope it helps.
