Ok.Im going to just get it out of the way and say that i just made dumb choices.I first got the tattoo when i was 16 in Canada.It was supposed to be a nautical star.wrong...its not even close.Now im eighteen i had a design that would make it look better and i thought nothing could go wrong this time..wrong again.When looking at the pic that is the final tattoo turn your head sideways.Its uneven.

I just wanted to know what other people would do to fix this.I was thinking about just covering it with an all black star.I have no idea.Hopefully you can view the pics.This is my first time on here.[/img]

He didnt use a stencil at all.he drew the lines based on the star i already had.That should have been a big sign not to get it.dumb me.I really dont want a big black star on me.Do you think if i had another black and red thing(idk what its called) going around it that made it straight would it be ok?

many artist work without a stencil just skin scribs or markers gives a better flowing design the biggest thing your doing wrong i would have to say is going to the wrong people ask to see there work before letting them have at you ask if they do custom or if there just a flash artist do a little more research on the artist watch him.her do a few tattoos before letting them do one on you this is the best advice i can give for a future refrence
as far as your tattoo now i cant see the pics all it say is img on my computer but sense you say its not straight did he draw it on your leg while you were standing straight or sitting? this plays a big roll in the how the design will look. you should always be standing up straight when a stencil is applied

Its on my arm.like maybe 4 or 5 inches from my wrist.I will try to fix the pics.

I agree with Tormented...I would highly recommend finding an artist who can draw, show him/her what you have currently to work with and see what they suggest. I am sometimes blown away by the ideas of the artist and they often come up with things I've never thought of before that will look/work great!

Im so surprised people actually read this and didnt automatically call me stupid.lol.Soon i will be going around to shops that are considered very good.I appreciate all the responses.I will update when i get it fixed.

Naw, many of us have made mistakes. My first one was a major mistake on many levels that I've spent a lot of time and money getting fixed.

Looking forward to seeing the finished tat!

its not soooo bad. mistakes, or imperfections in your tattoo always look a lot worse to yourself than they do to others. there are a couple of lines on one of mine that bloomed out in places from day one - they really annoy me because i see them all the time and i know what it is *supposed* to be like. nobody else seems to notice or care though...

i'd agree with what other people have said, getting a *good* artist to work something around it as background will improve it a lot. and making tattoos bigger is never a bad idea Smile

in the meantime, don't be torturing yourself.

Well i did get it fixed.I didnt get the star all black.Im leaving it how it is.The lines are thicker and even.I guess this whole time i was just being freaked out about it being uneven when you turn your head.I do have to go back in a month and a half.Something about me having thin blood,i was bleeding alot especially on the red parts.I will add on to this tat one day but im ok with it now.
