I am looking for ideas on my tattoo ive been envisioning for the last year. I want the solar system completely wrapped around my torso with various stars and universal phenomenon but im wondering if it's possible to make it look good on the black space background and if there are any alternatives to make it look good. I just want some ideas when I head out to my guy. I'd also like your input on the tattoo itself.

In a nutshell, it's the solar system like I said, with myself as the earth and the planets all around. I would like small stars and such in the back ground and a quote in the way of a shooting star:

It could look good, but that's a whole lot of black work for the space between planets and stars. You're going to be in for a small fortune and allot of hurt.

I'd say if you're the earth, why not have the solar sytem all around you.. but with just light gray/black shading... giving it a fading effect? .. Hmm, I wish I could show you what I mean I can't explain it.. but just enough black around the planets and stars to give it the "Somewhere out there" look. It sounds good to me.. just I wouldn't go all black, that's just me though.. again I'd just do the shading enough to give it the feel.
