I had trouble uploading my tattoo pictures onto this site. But I figured I'd share what I have so far.
The large tattoo is a work in progress, so what you see is not in its complete form.

Thanks! I didn't think I'd be able to sit for that long. Fortunately, it was done (and still is) a few hours at a time.
Def. not an easy thing to be under the needle, so to speak. |

looks good Im glad to see other artist use a wash line ( a light grey outline ) on largeish sized work they are so much easyer to change and cover over if some one wants to change the design some how |

Chic--I'm from the NYC area.
I just finished a painful session. I forgot that the spine is a place where the ouch factor is high. My tattoo artist felt so bad, I hoped I didn't scare him. But the rest of the vines are coming together.
Now he says a few humming birds would look nice. |

Marina, I know what you mean! I got a back tattoo of parrots, and put the most detailed one right smack in the center on my backbone! I'm glad that part of the tattoo is finished!!!
I think hummingbirds would look great with those types of flowers - and it seems that your artist is very good at shading and colors, so they'd probably look real sharp! |

During the last session, I seriously thought I was nuts for going ahead with the vine idea.
I hope he's not planning on doing the hummingbird(s) large-scale.
How big are the parrots? Sounds very colorful! Have you thought of Toucans as well? |

There are three - the largest is a Blue & Gold Macaw which is about 12" from top to tail. The middle one is a Rainbow Lory which is about 6". And the other one is an African Grey which is about 8". They are sitting on a branch across my back. I'm waiting to go in and get some background work done on it (hopefully in the next couple weeks) and then I'll post pictures when it's finished.
I do parrot rescue and these three were drawn from actual pictures of three of my birds. I love toucans (especially Keel-Billed), but I'm just doing ones I have |
