|

| I got a tattoo yesterday, and after 3 and a half hours I took the bandage off, and applied some ointment...After about 30 minutes after I applied the ointment I noticed that some of the ink was running( I think because I used too much ointment)..I was wondering if this was normal? I whipped the ink/ointment off and re-applied some, and it stopped...Its mainly just the black ink..Should I be worried? |

| That's somewhat normal. Cut back on the ointment and let that tattoo get some air. (2 applications in a day is plenty.) |

| Try and use just enough to put a very thin layer on the peice. Rub it in very well and if theres any left on top of the skin, wipe it away. Air is the best thing for healing and the ointment should just keep it moist enough that it doesn't crack and bleed. |
