| i have just bought a new power supply unit,and i am just wondering if any 1 can help me with the duty cycle and wot it means exactly. |

I'm a professional engineer andbasically the duty cycle means how often and for how long you will use the item.
Basically a 100% duty cycle would be used none stop all day and a 50% would be used half of the time. etc. |

| from what I know you want it running at abot 50% I think its to do with contacts opening and closeing Im really not sure so dont qote me on this. I was always taught to tune by what the machine was doing not what the power pack says |
