|
|
I wanted a tattoo for years now. I enjoy drinking wine, and was thinking of getting a grape vine (small about 4 inches) on my shoulder blade. But everything I have seen is very feminine. Has anyone seen one more suited for guys with out the skulls and other stuff in it?
Thanks for any help.

| If you have already picked an artist it may be best to discuss what you want with them and they can draw it out for you. |

Robert I was thinking about something like this
but more masculine looking (if that makes sense)
angel, I have not picked an artist yet. I figure I would get something in my mind before I wasted someones time drawing a bunch of stuff.
Thanks Billy |

| I would suggest looking at wine bottle labels. There are so many wines out now that have really cool, and unique, labels, that there might be one that will give you some inspiration on a design. |

grapes + skulls = bunch of grapes with small skulls instead of all/some of the grapes?
i wouldn't actually worry about the supposed feminine appearance of a grapevine tat. look at some of the yakuza tattoos - perhaps some of the toughest guys out there but many are covered in very beautiful flower work. and there's always our own super macho tough guy rowdy - he's covered in flowers too and noone has ever called him effeminate??
have they? |

| Maybe darker colors on the whole tattoo or greywash? I'm not sure there's really a way to make the grapes themselves more "manly" |
