hi all, i'm new here, my name is alison and i am a Professional Canine Beautification Specialist from Boston... well ok so i made up that title, but i really am a dog groomer. anyway. i just got my first "real" tattoo on wednesday. i posted a picture of her in my gallery. i say my first "real" because i got a small butterfly when i was 16, when i was 18 i decided i REALLY wanted butterfly wings on my back so i covered the butterfly with a star...then never got the wings, thankfully, but also no longer want the star. luckily it's very faded and small, so hopefully easily covered. but i love my tattoo and can't wait to get her colored in... then move on to the next one...

i am also a huge animal person, i desperately LOVE horseback riding, it is like an extension of my heart and soul. sadly since moving from maine to mass i am not able to own a horse( it's a lot more expensive when you can't put them in your back yard!). i also have one crazy australian shepherd/husky mix named bodha 2 kitties seuss and persephone and 20 african pygmy hedgehogs, whose names i won't torture you by listing. that be about it for now. also anyone looking for a good read check out Paulo Coelho, he's amazing and inspiring.

Hi Alison,

The linework your artist done is very clean and I just love the lucky cat design with cherry blossoms. Are you going to use the traditional bright colors or grey shade. (Please say color.)

I'm looking forward to seeing pic's of that peice finished and hearing more from you on the forum.
