I've always heard that is pretty much the most painful place to get a tattoo! I would think it would be hard to get psyched to go back in for the fill after that...
Keep us posted. |

to be perfectly honest, this is the one place i have reservations about getting tattooed because of the discomfort/pain. which is a shame really as my grand plan / ideal world scenario involves a bit of work over the ribs. maybe i'll leave that bit til last

| I have heard it being said that as you age the more getting a tattoo hurts, so if thats the truth then don't leave getting the rib area done too long. But in saying this I just had my second sitting done on my half sleave and to be honest it didn't hurt much. I could easily sit through that anytime and I'm no spring chicken now. |

| when it comes down to it, it all depends on pain tolerance Iv had people sit through a 2 hour session on the ribs and not evan wince then I had others who nearly jumped out of the chair. |

Take a look in the gallery under Flower or Floral Tattoos and look at the giant flower I just did on a girls ribs. She said it was really tough to get through it. Did it in three sittings. Outline first, shading next, color last.
So yeah ribs hurt LOL |
