I am a reporter writing a story about tattoos.
I am interested in talking to people about tattoos you regret, stories about covering them up, living with a bad mark or even learning to accept them.
I am also curious about white ink, glow-in-the-dark ink, choosing the right tattoo and artist so you absolutely love your ink and other new tattoo trends and options.
If you have a moment to contribute, I'd love to chat.
E-mail Aimee Heckel asap at or call 303-473-1359.
I'll try to check back on this thread, too, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. |

Heya
I started getting tattoos at 18, I got two tribals one at 18 and one at 21. I am now 28 and have quite a lot more.
If I could do it again I would have 3 tattoos, in certain places of a couple certain designs depending on what I decided.
I dont regret tattoos, the worrying this is they dont come off easily if you wake up one day and think...maybe I shouldnt have done that lol |

| You said you'd do it differently, but you don't regret the ones you have, though? |

hey im 22 and have 8 tattoos got my first one when i was 18 got 5 done from the same person, they came out great, then got 1 from another tattoo place that was fine as well, then i got 2 from a family member that started doing tattoos a while ago which i regret now, he never copied the designs properly but you couldnt tell till he had coloured them in, hence why im going to the second guy i got one of my tattoo's from when i finish work to see if he can cover one and redo the other as it didnt heal properly and is just lumpy, but i got to see if he can first. I dont regret the designs but just going to that person.

| hey!!! i'm 23 and have 9 tattoos. i started getting mine a year ago... and i love them to death! i got tattoos that mean something to me, and they are things i would never want to get rid of. i think tattoos really do beautify the body and make people more unique... as long as they aren't mass produced tattoos... like all the tribal fads people are in to. tattoos can definitely tell a lot about a person! |

I've read in tattoo magz and talked to some artists, they say the Glow in the Dark ink is very dangerous and can cause skin irritations...I've seen some people with them, and I dont think the ink comes out looking very attractive anyways (when you see it in the dark). |
