I would like something to signify my dedication to him. I have dragons and phoenix on my legs and some kanji on my arm as my last tattoo signifiying my dedication to my wife.

So now my new baby boy!!!

Any ideas??

His handprint tattooed directly over your heart perhaps? I suggested this to someone here before, but they didn't like the idea.

Just a thought.

The dragons and phoenix are a nice way to signify the struggle between good and evil. From what I've been told anyhow.

I like the idea...might have to wait a little though, my wife and I wanted to give out ornaments this christmas with his handprint and, well , lets out it this way, we are waiting till next year Wink

you should try a polynesian tribal tattoo, those tattoos are very linked to meanings, especially about family. check out tahititatou.com for meanings, symbols and designs

You're very welcome. I wish I would have done this with my children's handprints when they were younger.

My son is 7 months old and I have 2 ideas in mind. I will either wait until all of my children are born and get a scroll with all their names inside on my right calf or I wanted to get his foot print on the side of my stomach where I first felt him kick.
