This past Saturday, my best friend and myself went together to get our tattoos. For about four years, I had a basic design of a tattoo in my mind, it consisted of a crescent moon with a sword going right down through the middle of the moon. On Saturday, I brought several pictures of what I intended and everything was fine, the picture on the transfer paper was perfect, nothing seemed amiss. Throughout the process of getting inked, my best friend told me that it was turning out amazing. I honestly could not see much when I looked in the mirror, so I never once complained.
That was, until I came home and took the covering off. To my utter horror, there were extra ’liberties’ taken inn the design and other whole thing was crooked! I feel mortified when my friends ask to see my tattoo quite frankly, do not want to live with this for the rest of my life.
However, I still want my design as I intended. So this is where I would need some advice. I enclosed the highest quality picture I have of the tattoo. From what anyone notices, would they think the current sword could be covered up with another sword? Or should I just say forget it and dish out the money to get the entire tattoo removed?
For the Too Long; Didn't Read people: do you think the picture could be covered up without making matters worse?
Edit: the tattoo picture has been uploaded to my gallery.
