Your needles are pre-sterilized single use and the tubes must be cleaned, put through an ultrasonic(Preferably one with heat) and then through an autoclave cycle. (Even the brand new tubes need to be autoclaved before the first use.)
If you can't do this......... Save the tubes for when you have the ability to sterilize them and buy pre-sterilized single use disposable plastic tubes.
All bottles, clipcords and machines should be bagged and all surfaces and equipment should be cleaned with Cavacide, Viralex or something comparable.
None of these steps should be skipped.
Hope this helps. |

| I agree these are solid basic procedures anything else increases risk. I myself use disposable and steel however, make sure your buy your disposable equipment from a reputable supplier who is licensed to sterilize medical equipment Cam Supply is one of them the will send you the license numbers and procedures if you ask them. BTW disposables are not expensive. |

Hi biglu12619,
The reason that you need to autoclave your tools is because many diseases grow from spores. Spores cannot be killed by heat alone. You must break the spores by pressure then the heat kills them. Please use disposable only until you can buy an autoclave. |
