| when you are shading a tattoo, to get that light shade do the artist just water the ink down. |

| Well first of it is called gray wash.that is the light back effect.Second u can't just go water any black color down with water to do so.You best bet is to go buy some gray wash ink like Kuro Sumo it is really good and they also have a linning which can be used for dark shading. |

| BIGLU KURO SUMI IS GOOD ITS GREY WASHING INK IS GOOD CUZ ITS ALREADY LIGHT BUT YOU WILL STILL NEED TO DILUTE TO GET LIGHTER TONES IT DOES TAKE ALOT OF PRACTICE. I LIKE TO USE WITCH HAZEL.HOPE THIS HELPS. |
