I had my first sitting today. Got little sleep the night before and arrived on time after a good feed. Brought the missus for morale support too, just in case. The transfer went on no problem first time and then we started.

The first couple of minutes didn't really hurt at all, I even asked the artist "Is that it?". Throughout the sitting I found myself surprised how little some parts hurt, some parts were even relaxing! It was a good feeling.

But then again, some other parts really hurt! Alot. Especially over the clavicle, and the lower part of my chest. But they were all bearable, and worth it in the end.

We did the outline in a little under 2 hours, so I spent the next hour getting some shading done as well. Didn't hurt as much but some parts that were gone over lots zinged a fair bit!!

The artist was really good! She chatted and joked throughout the session and I felt completely at ease while she worked.

All and all a pretty positive experience, I am so happy with the work so far, I can't wait to see it finished!!!

Cheers for all the support guys.

I've been getting a lot of comments from people about the amount of work done over the clavicle and other sensitive areas and how much it must have hurt. I didn't think it was all that bad, yeah it hurt but less than a week since getting it and I'm already struggling to remember how it felt. And most people tell me the design looks awesome etc too. Gives me a swelled head Rolling Eyes

I can't wait to get it finished, hopefully only one more sitting (in January tho), but we'll see how it goes.
