hey i just got my first tattoo yesterday and i already bought the cream to help the healing process but my tattoo keeps getting stuck to my clothing and leaving ink on it. i still havent cleaned it yet b/c i was afraid of messing it up or something, i have only wiped it down when i put too much ointment on it. how can i clean it?  |

Did your tattooist not give you an aftercare leaflet...or tell you how to look after it? You should wash the tattoo with warm soapy water, rinse it off then pat it dry ( don't rub it ) then apply a thin layer of cream a couple of times a day. When the scabs form don't pick them or you could lose colour out of your tattoo. It will itch like mad but don't scratch it....if it gets too much you can scratch around the tattoo but not the tattoo itself.
