i need help with a tattoo idea, duh.

alright first off let me say that this tattoo is gonna be very meaningful to me and i've tried to put a lot of thought into it and i've found im not creative enough to think of something i really like. the tatoo will reprsent me and all the ***** i've been through in my life. i've been recently getting over all of it and have been doing very good, going to school, working, and keeping a good relationship with my family and friends. the only idea that i've come up with is a full or half sleeve of skulls (pretty nice sized) burning/melting from like a fire but i want to keep one skull fully formed because i think everyone will always have something bad about them. i dont really like this idea though and its all i can think of. so please help me with whatever you can

this will be my first tatoo and sorry for my english it is not my first language

Your English is fine, where are you from ?

Try to give us a clearer idea of what this tattoo represents and im sure we will be able to give you some ideas.

How old are you just curious as you mentioned school.

I'm from mexico and living in VA. and i'm 19 years old

well the tattoo will reprsent, all the ***** i've been through in my life growing up as a kid and in high school. i heard one time someone talking about inner demons or some ***** like that and that you need to let em go, it was somethin like that i dont really remember. Lately i've been getting over all that ***** i've been through, and i'm finally starting to do good for myself

Cool i went to mexico a few years ago great place.

Have you considered getting something a little less grim than a sleeve full of skulls ? maybe a phoenix coming from the ashes of a skull ? Thus representing all the hardtimes in the skull and the ashes and the phoenix to show the bright future ahead ?

i was thnking about getting a phoenix, but would that fit good as a sleeve, i always though that was for a backpiece. and i also really like how skulls look for some reason

I would think a phoenix could be worked into a sleeve dont see why not, if skulls are your thing go for it.

Maybe add some angels as a backgroung to the skulls ? sort of a good balanceing evil kind of thing ?

why don't you go for a half sleeve..a couple of small skulls with a larger skull looking into a mirror and the reflection is an angel....it'll show there is good in everyone...I think it'll look cool...and if you don't like it I may go for that myself!!!!

they all sound like cool tattoos, but i think the pheonix represents more of what i want. how about an angel standing on top of skulls? i feel like to many people already have that though

Does it really matter how many people have a style or design of tattoo ?

Im halfway through a Koi on my leg loads of people are getting them at the moment it is still my tattoo. If the design speaks to you then go for it, dont obssess over the design relating to the meaning, a tattoo can mean anything or nothing and its meaning can be totally unrelated to its looks.

Cool take your time over the decision then take even longer finding the right artist, then get some piccies on here mate, have a look around this site you might find an artist near you who has been reccomended !

Not me mate im in sunny England cant help there, there is a section on this site about artits may be worth a look failing that start a thread asking for artist details in that part of the world, or google it and see what comes up.
