Hi, I'm new to this, just wondered what everyone thought about all these people selling their foreheads etc for thousands of dollars or pounds to have on line gambling casinos website addresses tattooed on to them?
Also, what do you think of the tattooists who are putting the tattoos on? |

hi inca, the tattooist who did that took six hours of trying to talk her out of it, but she wanted the ten grand....
i think its so bad of any tattooist who tattoo faces or foreheads..
and for the the casino's who encourage it...would they like it if their daughter was to get a tattoo on their forehead..... |

totally agree with that chic. maybe someone should tattoo one of their daughters foreheads!!!!
i feel a bit sorry for the tattooist in a way because he is the one getting all the flak for doing it.......I suppose he could've just refused...but someone somewhere would've done it!!!........as they say though...money talks!!!!
there's a guy who has had his back done as well....I think he got $18,000.
but what makes me sick is that they will then pay some well known model $15,000 to walk around with a temporary tattoo on her chest for 3 months advertising the same thing....so if your famous you don't have to have the permanent mark and you get more money!!!!!! |

I wouldn't get tattooed on the head, hands or face and there are a lot of tattooists who won't do this either.....but....I do think it is someone's personal choice as to whether they get tattooed in these areas. I just think that these online casinos are encouraging people to do something that they would never usually consider...because of the amount of money involved....and they will probably regret it later in life.
where in herts are you chic? |

Hmmm
Interesting one this.
If someone is that despaerate for the money that they are prepared to do this to themselves then thats quite sad however if this money is enough to radically improve there life then it may be worthwhile. Individual choice.
Im a bit concerned about the morals of an artist who would do this as i feel it damages the public perpective of tattoos and could undo a lot of the good work that has been done to promote our art form.
just my random thoughts

Hi OB,
as I said, I don't think these people would even consider having this done if it wasn't for the amount of money involved....but that tattoo's gonna be there long after the money has run out!! |

True but if that money is enough to radicly improve there life then is it then worthwhile ?
Maybe to get some treatment for an addiction (hopefully not gambling tee hee) or to put children through college that sort of thing, im not defending what has been done merely looking from a different angle.
Does any one have a link to the story ? |

If it radically improves their life then I suppose they will feel it is worthwile. I just wonder if they will feel it is worth it when the money has gone....although I suppose they could sell another part of their skin off for another advertisement!!!!
If you look on a site called you tube and type in tattoo as a search you will find footage of the woman having the tattoo done. |

Edit to add found some stuff via Google seems a bit odd to me also appears that a chap called Brent Moffatt has done exactly the same thing before. |

try resizing your pictures first, right click on the picture and it should say resize...then when you have done that, it will copy it to where ever you have them stored, and you will find it there. use the one you resized though..
i have egyptian writting on my wrist too.
i dont know yet what im having done, i have to think about it for a long time, also wouldnt mind it at the top of my neck near the hair line.
im reading a book at the moment by mathew riley, and its called Seven wonders of the world, and its about egypt and the treasure seekers of modern day..very good. |

Thanks for that....I'll try it and see if it works!!!
Is the book fictional....are you getting any ideas from it??
That's going to be a bit sore at the top of the neck....I hear it's a difficult place to tattoo someone as well!!
I have a 4 hour session booked in for next wednesday to get more of my sleeve done....I can't wait......strange isn't it...can't wait to have some more pain!!!!! |

inca, its fictional, but because ive been to egypt, i can really imagine the places they are exploring...
love all things egyptian..hubby paid for me to have my picture taken, and i dressed up as an egyptian..loved it..
the neck is supposed to be painfull, but no pain, no gain.
what you having done, is it just custom work...i look forward to having a tattoo....
good luck...
by the way where are you saving the pictures in your computer.
save them as a jpeg, its easier to add them to posts then. |

inca, egypt is lovely in march time, as its not tooo hot..maybe about 35 degree's.. the sights are awsome..
when you go into your pictures, click on your picture you want to down load, then right click it, and you should have a drop down menu appear, and it should be about third one down and it should say resize, click on that, and then size it...
if not then i dont know...mate. |

| Definitely no option to resize.....will just have to play around with the computer to try to find a way to do it. |
