Is at the beggining of October this year 5th 6th and 7th i think.

There was some vague chat earlier this year about having a bit of a meet and drink there this year.

I have looked on the website for the convention and it looks a bit special with some 150 artists working including some of the best there are (in my opinion).

There also looks to be quite a wide and intersting array of entertainment, Rowdy they have burlesque girls !

So who wants to go and which day is best for everyone ?

Paul booth floats my boat a wee bit dont really want any of his stuff on me it is a bit to dark but to look at i think it is cool, also like to see Filip Leu, Aaron Bell, Woody, Lal Hardy and probably plenty more.

Chic you coming ? There will be beer a plenty.

Who else is up for this ? There must be a few more of us who are interested ?

Im allergic to alcohol more than a few oints makes me very foolishly and if i ignore this i will evantually fool over and be sick.

The tickets for the tattoo convention are £18... the time it starts is, 2 oclock on friday until 11 oclock..
sat, 12 - 11.

I reckon Friday still, to the more experienced convention goers amongst us what is the protocol if you want to get a tattoo from one of the artists at the show ?

Do you just turn up on a walk in basis or are people expected to book in advance and if so how ?

kind of toying with the idea of a swallow on the inside of my arm from one of the great and good at the show theres enough of them going.

we probably have no chance at all of getting tattood by anyone but you can send your favourite tattooist an e,mail just in case they hava a cancellation.some artists simply turn up at the show and wait for a customer to ask .usually though they are booked 12,months in advance ,but never say never ,its possible they could have a person drop out for any reason and if youre in the right place at the right time ya never know.i personally will keep sticking my leg under shige,s needles untill i get a scratch . Laughing

I got a pm from tiny hot pants with details of a couple of artists (thanks) but she mentioned that it is unlikely to get a booking now.

Guess i will have to drink beer instead.
