Or why bikes are bad for you !
Multiple grazes many many bruises one toenail largely removed, ankle tendon and muscle thingys re arranged into a whole new pattern and my hip resembles a road map of sore bits.
Big hint for anybody who enjoys off road biking dont get your foot caught between a tree and a pedal whilst trying to go round a corner at speeds in excess of 25MPH.
Oh whilst i remember, for sale one "slightly" dented and damaged full face mountain bike hemlet.
Remember kids stay safe out there ! |

Yeh feeling a bit tender, have to use crutches at the moment as im not really very mobile.
The doctor reckons my ankle will take at least three months to return to something approaching full strength.
No cycling swimming or running for a few weeks (dont really swim and never run so only the cycling that im upset about). Not suppposed to exert myself.
Smashed my shiny helmet up a bit the bike seems ok and my protection has some nice new scratches in it . So damage to pocket runs at about £55 for a new helmet and i need to spend some time giving the bike a good look over to make sure it is ok.
I also scuffed up my shorts and t shirt so they are now only good for monging around the house in.
All in all could have been a lot worse. |

Yep i know the reign , i had the VT , the model before the reigns .
Now am riding a Giant Talon , not doing the down hill side so much and find the hard tail rides up hills so much better , also got lock out on the new forks so thats good for the up hill bits to .
Still rides down pretty good too . |

So Rowdy your tyres have tyres over them that is good tell me how many socks do you have on each foot ?
Do you maybe cover your pants with more pants ? Or do you like to wear your pants outside your trousers and play superman ? |

| NOOOOOO that would be silly you have a tyre over a tyre in case you puncture one then you have a back up system built in ,in the trade its called double redundancy.i wear fresh socks every day but come saturday i cant get me shoes on. |

In the trade, in the bl00dy trade.
Surely on a push bike you dont so much puncture the tyre but the inner tube (clearly this doesnt relate to tubeless tyres). Hence having two tyres on each wheel is merely stupid.

Is it a stage 2 "pulse doppler radar " or the new stage 3 ??
And i find it hard to believe you have a "full browntube trickle tube " ......................... |

| no its not stupid the tubeless tyres are filled with tyreweld a secret compound developed by n,a,s,a for the shuttle in case it gets a puncture when it lands on the moon.and only my bike has it if your bike had it you wouldnt have fell off.but ya havent ,so ya did. |

| Now keep this under your hat ill let you in on this its a stage 7 passive downward looking radar that will detect any trees up to and including a range of 25 feet ,the developers are having a little trouble with a blindspot created by the bell though hwever because its a passive downward looking radar its not very good at detecting trees if youre going upbank for this reason we are experimenting with gravity and we believe it may be possible to assertain that if you go upbank and stop peddaling, we believe a significant reduction in speed may be achieved but this is only experimenal at the moment will keep you posted on future developments. |
