Hi, Just a quick question I am looking to get "Mum" and "Dad" on my wrists. I am just wondering are there any "Rules" about Tattoo writting on wrists, ie; size and lettering style etc. I was hoping to have my parents write it in their own writting. Is this at all possible? This will be Tattoo #2 & 3 for me so i am still new to it!
Thanks in advance! |

No rules, just talk to the artist and work out what will look the best as far as size and lettering style. Theres plenty of style's.
As far as your parents writing there name, Thats no problem either. Might be best to have them go with you and write there names with the artist pen just before and then he/she is ready to tattoo!!
P.S. by the way, I think thats a cool idea! |

If an artist go's that deep they better quit!!!!
Theres a lot of places that sting more then a wrist tattoo. Not that bad at all. |

| Wrist doesn't hurt as bad as shoulder or upper arm, not at all. And I love that idea. |

I would love to have my partners name on me somewhere but I'm not sure she'd be too happy about it We've both decided to get something that signifies our partnership (we're having a civil ceremony in April next year) just after we get married.. but we haven't yet decided what
Anyway, sorry for stealing this thread |

I'm sure she would if we ever got to talking about it seriously but don't seem to do that at the minute. Everything is funny to us. I have no idea why though..
Actually I asked her earlier tonight and she said she was fine with it.. But we need to discuss it in big detail. I want a leg piece and I want something in the middle that signifies her but I just don't know what Haha.
Anyway. |

my first tattoos were on my wrists, i actually asked some simliar questions about the whole inner wrist, is it ok - etc.
it was super simliar to a cat scratch... it get a tattoo over a shot or a paper cut anyday.
since then ive gotten tattos on my calves, top of both my feet, bottom of one... and id have to say, the wrist probably hurt the least for me.
im sure itll turn out great. i love tattoos that are signed by the person themself and tattooed over. it means alot more that way.
goodluck! |

That sounds like a good idea , my daughter watched "that" tv show the other week and one of the guys mum did this , now she wants to write her nam on my arm and have it tattooed . I'm not so sure though i've seen her writing and it looks pretty bad .
let us know how it goes |

| My firsts were around my left wrist. I had the artist draw up a cursive script because my writing sucks but that is beside the point. I now have one on the top of each shoulder that crosses the collar bone and it hurt like 20 times worse than the ones on my wrist. The ones on my wrist felt like a stinging and as for size i had him take the words i wanted and make them proportionate to the size of my wrist. I hope this helps you some. Krayzie |
