I am looking at getting my next tattoo which is well overdue and want something that represents a huge transformation which I hve made recently in my life. I have gone form being extremely overweight to losing currently 65kg with only another 5kg to go to get to my goal weight. I want to celebrate this transformation with a new tattoo. What sort of things represent transformations? There are butterflies but what else coz i think butterflies are just a bit too common and would kinda like to include the weight that I have lost into the tattoo somehow. Any ideas would be appreciated.

its really easy to follow...
you have low middle and high foods..
the low foods stay in your body longer so the need to eat more.. is less..

And dont eat chocolate... Razz thats what ive stop doing . Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

congrats on your accomplishment, thats really cool.

over the last few months i have become quite fitness orientented myself. it just got to point where i was tired of my lifestyle and decided to make a change. its not easy and i do comend your efforts, good work!

as far as your tat idea, i think its a great plan to get something to signify your accomplishment. i dont really feel comfortable telling people what to get, its something i have never really done. but i usually just say to visit a few quality artists, see what they say, thats why they are good at what they do.

good luck and keep us updated!!

The phoenix sounds like a good idea. I am getting pleenty of good ideas now Will have to have a hunt around and see what I can find, also was given the idea of the ugly duckling turning into the swan and someone walking thru a door from fat into slim

Have you thought about a lotus flower ?

The lotus flower for example has to grow from the bottom of a dirty, muddy pond to grow out of the depth to display its beauty.

lotus flower tattoo's can also represent people who have a hard time in life who have started to overcome it.

yes i have thought about the lotus flower, I see them get done all the time on miami ink and i love them so much but they seem to be a very common thing, well in the US anyway, I dunno about here in Tassie so much, I am stuck between the ugly duckling turning into a swan and a lotus flower. But I think the lotus is the way to go.

I am looking into getting a lotus flower my self with a "OM" symbol

I found this on a website, i thought may interest you

The Lotus flower is symbolic of rebirth, but in addition to its religious meaning, the lotus is also a symbol of all that is true, good and beautiful, representing good fortune, peace and enlightenment.

In some belief systems, different coloured Lotus blooms have different symbolic meanings. There are white, blue, red and yellow lotuses described in ancient Indian sutras, or writings. Different colors have different meanings. White, for instance, represents "purity"; blue represents "goodness"; and red represents "enlightenment."
