kay...i got a tat on my neck. it turned out like *****. It was supposed to be a black shooting star...and the trail was supposed to be really light. and i saif a FEW "stardust" dots. So the guy blends the black of the star right into the trail and put like a thousand dots on it. Its terrible. I have a pic of it on my personal gallery if you want to see it. So anyways...
before I got it done they made me sign a waver and said "there is no guarentee". But assuming they couldnt make it as bad as it is...i signed it.
well. My mom (yes my mommy...even though im 18 ) wants to go in there and speak with the owner...and get the guy fired. Also, she wants them to pay for my tat removal. Do you think that is at all possible...or is it not even worth it?
just wondering if anyone else has ever encountered a problem like this...or knows anything about the wavers they make you sign.
....
.......cause im the kind of person who doesnt actually read what im signing. I could have signed my soul over to the devil and not noticed it. lol |

Hmmm good luck on this one, go in the studio definetly jump up and down create a scene do everything possible in the studio to make them pay.
If this doesnt work threaten to go to the local papers and print your story and pictures in the press, that should worry them slightly.
Follow this up by trying to get on local level TV.
If this doesnt work then make some posters and put them up round the town then get a placard and stand outside the shop and stop every customer and show them what they did to your neck.
If this doesnt work then i think your screwed sorry. |

here is what i would do: (i do agree with bugger, but i think this would be more effective.)
go into the shop, act calm and rationale, even try to be friendly but assertive. explain the situation to both the artist and his boss, tell the guy that the way you see it, it is both of your faults. its his fault for doing such a bad job and your fault for not doing your homework and trusting a non-reputable artist. tell him you are willing to split the cost of the lasering if that is what you want to do, or split the cost of getting it fixed by a real artist. (say it in different words, you don't want to piss them off) tell them you understand that things happen and that you just don't want to have to walk around with this on your neck forever.
i think if you go in there irate you will just piss them off and nothing will happen. you signed a legally binding contract, so if push comes to shove they will win and you will be SOL.
i hate to say it but you have just learned a rough lesson, do your homework and never trust someone you don't know with something so important as a tattoo that is always visible.
i would try to fix it first, from what i have heard lasering hurts about 100x more than getting the tattoo and it doesn't always go away completely. |
