Hi guys,
I have put a pic of my latest tattoo on my personal gallery. Please can anyone help me? I'm so upset about it.
I wanted a delicate floral vine round my ankle but stupidly didn't do my research (idiotic i know!). I chose off the wall at my usual tattooists studio and now i really regret it. I didn't want large flowers and this one looked nice on the wall with just the splashes of colour.
The problem came in when i got home and had a good look at it. I think it looks odd having such dominant leaves with no flowers. Feel too much of an idiot to go back without seeking some other opinions.
Also I don't know if you've noticed but it's as wonky as hell! The front is way higher than the back on the side view and is more noticeable in real life than on this pic because its so close up. Everyone that's seen it has commented on it being wonky. It's straight on the inside of my leg, slightly off at the front then way off on the outside and the back. I think the problem was he wrapped the stencil round my leg starting from the inside and i think it went off course which is why it drops on the outside. Also it wasn't long enough to go round my leg so he freehanded some swirls to fill the gap in and i think these are also placed too low and drag the side down even more.
I'm in a right state about this because i'm terrified to go back in case he blames me for not checking the placement before he began - although in all fairness he had hold of my leg to use the stencil and didn't let go so i could get up and look - he just started. I'm too flaming trusting i just assumed he knew how best to place it. I'm also worried it might be hard to add some flowers - do you think it could be done and do you think it might straighten it out?
Any suggestions gratefully recieved. I've never had any trouble with my other tattoos. I have a tribal rose on my left upper arm, and two large tribals on my back, one right across the top coming up in spikes below my neck and one right across my lower back spiking down towards my butt. No pics of these included yet on my gallery as i don't have them on pc yet. Also i've put a lot of weight on since i started getting inked and the view is nowhere near as nice as it was ten years ago lol!
Please help me fix this!
X Caz
