Does anybody know a site with some really good sleeve work??

I'm gonna start work on my arms soon... I've seen bloody loads of tattoo's that I like but for some reason I just don't want on myself. I seem to be very picky when it comes to things I want myself.

I'm looking to get something that covers both arms from wrist up to the shoulder [maybe further], if you've seen M. Shadow's arms from Avenged Sevenfold... something like that.

I like a lot of Biomechanical style but I'm not keen on actually having an alien on my arm. I'm willing to consider any style if it's good art though.

Thanks

dude i am in the same boat. got a couple tats under my belt and am ready go big on my arms. i am really picky about what i get too though so it is hard. i have been planning this idea, but cant decide for sure or not. i am more into abstract / postmodern stuff, but i don't know for sure if thats what i want forever.

i also want both arms to be kinda of similar, not the same, but maybe conflicting ideas. i was thinking like a life / death idea, but i don't know. its hard, let me know if you find some good sites, its hard to find stuff on the net at work when a lot of stuff is blocked.

Most of the stuff online that I have seen is common flash... Superior, Tattoo Finder and others have stuff, but once again... Common.

If you have an Idea, even a rough one, scribble it out on paper and find an artist to help... You can down load a arm template on line and fit it to your size. Keep asking questions, go to conventions... A good artist will be able to marry your ideas, even if they can't do the Tattoo...

How about going to your local college and asking an Instructor to help, Young Art Students love to see there art displayed...

Happy Hunting!!! Smile

Drunkenblade is definatly on the right track there. I'm currently working on sleeves from my wrist to my pecs and shoulders. I happen to be an artist who does abstract geometrical designs. I draw up my own tats and then find artists who are capable of doing them. (trust me that can be difficult depending on where you live). Yea... draw up what you thinks is the best and have either a traditional artist or a tattoo artist draw up a piece for you. I've been the happiest with my own ideas by far! Surprised

robtat, why are you here if you have nothing nice to say. Please stop insulting people and their ideas. I'm sure there are other forums that will apprecitate your insults but this is not one of them!

isnt tattooing an artform therefore art ,how can you say your average tattooist ,if ya show an average tattooist a fish and a picasso they will know the difference.how can you say a tattoo cant be a work of art,i beg to differ in my humble opinion if a load of bricks ,a half made bed and a dissected cow can be classed as art im damned sure a beautiffull tattoo can be.
