Hey all, ive been having tattoos since i turned 18 a year ago. I just havnt been able to stop. I have 9 atm, all in strange places, just had 666 on the inside of my thumb, what a nice feeling :S I love the feeling of getting one, and to look at a finished designed makes me pleased. They have kept me going through hard times, and im thankfull to my tattooist for that.Recently some un-inked people say im addicted, and no matter what i say, im wrong. I do'nt think im addicted, i just enjoy having them done,
which is fair enough , Anyone else had this or similar happened to them?
Feel free to add me on mmsn, always looking out for other tattooists |

| I have one so far and I want to get a few more. I have heard that there are people out that that are addicted but I would hardly call 9 tattoos addicted. I really am surprised that people think you are addicted have they seen some of the people that have whole sleeves on their arms? |

| I can see being addicted! I have 3 tattoos so far and I am always wanting to get more. I really like the way it feels to get them and then the end result is just mind blowing most of the time. I usually draw my own artwork so it makes it that much better to see it "come to life"! |

| There is a psychological connection between getting tattoos and dealing with life issues. Body modification is a way to improve or alter your self image and also a way to shape your identity. the stigma associated with tattoos is rapidly declining as they become more mainstream. I just got my Dad's initials between my collar bones in honor of him passing last august. My only suggestion is that you give at least six months of planning of design and placement for further work. I'm a rookie but have been wanting to get work done since I can remember. My father's passing was the first time I knew I would never regret getting a tribute to him. I don't recommend you stop but would only suggest trying to connect the work done with something very meaningful in your llife. Just remember, it's your body and the decision to alter it is extremely empowering. |
