I love tattoos. I have three and I sure as heck plan on getting more. However my body has always been over-reactive about everything. Which is great because I never get sick. But if I get a scrape, insect bite, or in this case tattoo, I scab like no one has ever scabbed before. It has taken two to three retouches for my tattoos to take. I just recently got my third tattoo and without fail, I scabbed. I take every precaution I can possibly take. I keep it moisterized, I cleanse it with dial soap. I don't touch it, I don't pick it, I just scab. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Does anyone else scab this way? |

seems like its just how your body reacts, nothing much you can do. sorry.
you are doing everything right though, just make sure you're not over moisturizing (2x a day, use a very small amt) or washing. also make sure when you bathe to not let too much water soak or come in contact with the fresh ink. above all like you said, never pick at it. ask your artist or doctor, they would know more than i would. |

I use Bepanthen, but i have found it does make your skin white (on skin that isn't white, like if you have dark skin or a tatt on your arms, legs, or tanned areas!)
Other than that the cream is really safe, you could even eat it. The stuff its made of is already what is in your skin.
I'm also getting my 4th next week, i just got my 3rd and LOVE THEM!
And i'm 21 |
