The coloring hurts no worse than having the outlining done. I really didn't mind the coloring as much as the outlining myself, but everyone is different. Just make sure that you eat before you go and that should knock the sick feeling that you had.

My tattoo is fairly small but the coloring did not hurt anymore than getting the outline done. I really did not have that much pain throughout the whole tattoo and I usually do not do well with pain.

I just got my first tattoo at the Hart and Huntington shop at the Palms in Vegas. My Dad passed away last August and I got his initials E.G.T in the middle of my shoulder blades. I was paranoid off the pain but my artist assured me it's not that bad. He was right. The only real discomfort was the coloring of the G right on my spine. But even that wasn't that bad. It was almost a "good" pain.

make sure you have something to eat and drink plenty of water...
take a paracetamol before you go this should help.
colouring doesnt hurt no more than the outline, but a bit more intense in one point..

I found the coloring to be less painfull (in my tattoos) than the outline, but as someone else said, everyone is different.
