|
|
First of all! Nice to meet you all! my name is eduardo (or tuturo, or eddy) I'm from Dominican Republic and I recently turned 18 years old.
So see... I've been mingling with the idea of getting a tattoo in some time soon but I might have some problems...
First of all... I had a allergic reaction to a Henna Tattoo I did to myself a year ago... it was the third henna tattoo I ever did to myself and the only one that I reacted to. I was told that my body rejected the ink for some reason... it wasen't a extreme reaction, yet was very itchy and red.
So! my question is... should I go ahead and do myself a tattoo? ... or it might be too risky?
Is there anyway to test wether I'll be allergic to normal tattoos?
is a report on Henna Tattoos allergies, I had something like what it said there.. I basicly erased the Henna Tattoo by aplying alcohol for one week straight everyday , and one week afterwards untill the reaction dissapeared. I took anti-allergics everyday aswell xD!.
I've had a history of nose allergies to temperature changes (sneezing such) and now allergies to Henna.
So... you can understand my worries...
Even though! Real tattoos are not the same as Henna! perhaps my skin reacted to chemicals only found on Henna.. who knows... (hope not..)
There might even be a way to test what chemicals I was allergic to on Henna!... the article says its usually para-phenylene diamine (PPD)... is that found on tattoo ink aswell? ... even tho.. I couldn't be sure if that was what I was allergic to!!
God! how much I can hate my skin sometimes! ... what do you guys think? |

why dont you buy some ink . and do a test patch on a small area, preferably 24 hours before you even start to tattoo.
.or even go to a tattooist and have a word with them...thye nay have an idea...
some colours im allergic too, red yellow...very very itchy and red and raised... so your not alone... |

i am going back to my tattooist and he is going to go over those colours and try to work them out..it hurt like a bitch , ive allready had neat dettol tattooed in to stop the itching and that didnt work...
so hopefully three times lucky...
its a pot luck thing..
i never used to get a reaction, and he asured me it was the same brand...
but as you get older your body changes..
it just takes longer to heal... |
